C2TN researchers collaborate with students from “Academia dos Saberes” to address environmental challenges at Parque Adão Barata

Researchers from C2TN recently joined forces with students from “Academia dos Saberes” in Loures for a meaningful engagement at Parque Adão Barata. The collaborative session focused on crucial issues pertaining to air quality, sustainable mobility, and climate change.

This collaborative effort is a key component of the PAB_LivingLab project, which is aimed at reducing the carbon footprint of Parque Adão Barata. Co-financed by EEA Grants, the project encompasses a series of activities aimed at fostering environmental sustainability and resilience.

Tiago Faria, a researcher involved in the initiative, emphasized the importance of such collaborations in addressing pressing environmental concerns. “By engaging with students and stakeholders, we are not only raising awareness but also fostering actionable solutions to mitigate climate change and promote sustainable living” said Tiago Faria.
