The “Functional Molecular Materials Insights” Workshop in honor of Professor Manuel Almeida on the occasion of his 70th anniversary, took place on October 21th, at IST Campus Tecnológico e Nuclear, Bobadela, with the presence of around 40 national and international participants. Organized by the C2TN’s Solid State group. During the morning of the event seven oral invited communications were held, leading to interesting debates. In the afternoon a more informal section took place with a tribute session in honor of Professor Manuel Almeida.
