Nouha Harizi, a PhD student from Institut
Supérieur de Biotechnologie de Sidi Thabet (Tunisia), was working in C2TN (in Laboratory
of Technological Assays in Clean Rooms) from October to December 2022 to study
the effects of gamma and electron-beam radiation on different fractions of camel
and cow milk in terms of antiproliferative, antidiabetic and antioxidant
activities. The outputs of this work demonstrated that ionizing radiation can
be a suitable technology for preservation or promotion of milk bioactivity.
