Air Quality and Climate Action Observatory
ObservAR has the facilities and knowledge to respond to complex challenges related to Atmospheric Air Pollution and Indoor Air Quality in different spaces, such as schools, homes, offices, gyms, hospitals, and transports.
Over the last two decades, ObservAR has been developing tools and methods for the sampling and analysis of atmospheric pollutants. Currently, the complete characterization of the air pollutants in the receptor is used by ObservAR’s researchers:
to identify sources of pollutants and the processes associated with their formation using receptor models;
to assess the local, regional and long-distance transport of pollutants;
to understand the health impacts of air pollutants;
to identify mitigation actions to improve air quality in urban systems.
