The programme aims at contributing to the approximation between primary and secondary education and higher education. Also, intend to strengthen young students motivation for acquiring knowledge and for pursuit higher education.
The outreach group of C2TN promoted several activities on the 2019 edition of the Noite Europeia dos Investigadores that happened at Museum of Natural History and Science and Lisboa Botanic Garden (of Lisbon University) last 27th of September.
The activities were developed under the thematic of “Contribution of C2TN to the tomorrow cities”.
C2TN’s outreach group was at the SciComPT 2019 Congress held in Aveiro from the 30th to the 31st of May. The Outreach group presented the poster "A Ciência que nos rodeia", which described their work in communicating and disseminating the C2TN research activities.
The outreach group of C2TN promoted on the 2018 Science and Technology Week, the activity entitled "The air is for everyone", which were developed by C2TN researchers at Escola EB1 n.º 4 of Póvoa de Santa Iria. This set of initiatives was carried out in the framework of the Interreg Sudoe ClimACT and LIFE Index-Air projects, both developed at C2TN.

The C2TN outreach group was present on the largest science meeting in Portugal in 2018 “Science and Technology Summit in Portugal”, Lisbon, 2 to 4 of July.
Those who passed by had the chance to get to know a little more about the work that is done in C2TN.
The outreach group was present on the 3rd edition of Loures InSS that occurred at Parque Urbano de Santa Iria de Azóia on last June. The main objectives of the Loures InSS (a partnership between the Câmara de Loures and Instituto Superior Técnico) are to transmit good environmental and citizenship practices and to value the environmental potential of the city.
