«As part of the Thematic Line “Earth Systems, Radioactivity & Cultural Heritage”, the C²TN Academy is promoting a new seminar dedicated to the study of groundwater in the Zagreb Aquifer, which will take place on 12 February at 11:00 a.m. in the Auditorium of Loures Campus.
The guest speaker, Zoran Kovač, associate professor and specialist in hydrology and hydrogeology at the University of Zagreb (Sveučilište u Zagrebu) in Croatia, will lead the session titled “Zagreb aquifer – water and nitrate origin”.
Participants will have the opportunity to deepen their knowledge about the origin of groundwater, understand the processes that regulate its movement, and identify the origin of nitrates, as well as their impact on water resources sustainability.»
